Look—see how the sky is burning.

Radiant approaches a highly topical issue with lightness, humor, and a haunting poetic tone. This dance and contemporary circus performance is inspired by the case of Polish vegetable greenhouses whose intense glow shines like a city of a hundred thousand. It combines physical theatre, dance, partner acrobatics, spoken word, and music by the group Himalayan Dalai Lama.

Light pollution causes irreversible damage to both nature and human health. The glowing greenhouse becomes a symbol of what we have created in order to lose so much. Something is ripening—but much more is dying. Tick-tock, we still have a little time left.
